This one is through the UCP Organization.

Bellows Fund

The Elsie S. Bellows Fund was established in 1995 to provide assistive technology equipment to financially needy individuals with disabilities. Earnings from the principal of this fund are allocated on an annual basis by United Cerebral Palsy to its affiliates (not-for-profit organizations that have a contract with UCP).

Purpose of the Fund

Assistive technology can play a major role in increasing the independence of individuals with disabilities. Such equipment can range from computer access devices to wheelchairs and augmentative communication aids. The Elsie S. Bellows Fund provides funds to UCP affiliates to purchase equipment which then becomes the property of the disabled person. UCP affiliates submit an application on behalf of an individual to the UCP national office.

This program is available only through UCP affiliates. Please contact your local UCP for information on how to apply. http://ucp.org/ucp_channelsub.cfm/1/14/11830

Elks Organization in New Mexico.  Their state program helps kids with Cerebral Palsy.

Contact is Walt Kincaid, 505-321-4766.  He is based in Albuquerque but goes all over the state helping people.  He also runs a free rehab clinic that he opens up to therapists and patients.

I am trying to update our list of charitable organizations that grant equipment "wishes" for families & organizations. We like to be able to provide this information to our familes looking for outside assistance with funding to be able to use LiteGait in their home. If you know of these specific types of foundations please let me know their name & possibly an email or a website!

Thank you very much.
