Yes, you can use LiteGait with a patient wearing a Halo with some precaution. You must ensure the harness is low enough that it does not make contact with the Halo vest. Appropriate positioning and tightness are critical so that the harness does not ride up. It is helpful to increase the girth of the patient with towels or foam under the harness so that you increase the space between the overhead straps and the Halo. Another consideration is that you put a little extra distance between the overhead yoke of the LiteGait and the top of the Halo, to avoid any contact.
What are thoughts on placing someone with a HALO in the LiteGait? Any precautions or contraindications? Also if it is okay does anyone have any tips and techniques for harness placement?
