Should the gait training parameters have been modified to allow the subject to train at higher walking speeds in order to promote central pattern generator modulation of walking? How significant is the (diminished, but persistent) "pause time" between steps described in this article? Which parameter(s) would you change to allow for a faster walking speed? Is a walking speed plateau on day 7 an expected outcome for a client as described in this article?
