would the junior yoke have a larger shoulder width (an issue for tiny clients...)??

You can learn to estimate weight by the tension in the straps.  You could initially check the tension in standing on a scale and actually see how the numbers change as you add or release tension.  You really need to learn how the tension feels.  This is how alot of pedi therapists work.

I imagine for data for a study you could get the bisym on the junior yoke, adapt the shoulder width with ?extension posts to mount the straps in an inward position (would the bisym still work?)

But what about using other data for your study, speed, time?  Or measuring change by the the efficiency of your clients ambulation overground (heart rate, time, speed, distance, etc)

Did you want to quantify exertion (effort) which one would want to see diminish as ambulation skill improves, or just measure the weightbearing???

Junior yoke which is large enough to be instrumented with load cells and therefore can be outfitted with BiSym fits on a WalkAble.  The difference is very little additional weight.  Upgrade any WalkAble yoke to include bisym and you will get a Junior yoke.

Unfortunately the BiSym scale that we sell as an option for most of our LiteGait units is not available on the LG75/100 due to structural limitations.

From one of our pediatric LiteGait users:  I have one question, is there a way to quantify the amount of weight bearing our students are exerting? I would like to be able to have more objective data regarding progress etc. It is difficult to actually count random step samples, but we use that as one criteria. I would like to be able to closely document small changes over time. Thanks for your help.
