It’s great to hear that American sewing company has released custom size abdominal compression binder. I have seen many people who were searching for the best place to get these abdominal compression binders, the demand for this binder is continuously on raise since even marry massery recommends in her course. I was thinking to go for the binders from long time but the problem is I don’t know how it should be used particularly. If anyone here with good knowledge with binder using, please share with us it would be of great use for us.pulse oximeter

American sewing company makes excellent custom sized binders for $18 + shipping. These are the ones Mary Massery recommends in her courses. They are online, with measuring instructions.

As formbottoming out wih sudden harness release: try loosening by the sides a bit first, and have her draw her abdomen in gently (some deep breathing) as you remove the harness, to soften the effects of harness removal.

ask the pt the try an abdominal binder that is generally used for post op pt's, These are elastic in nature and generally they stay in place, especially for a pt her size.

Pt. has been using LG over ground to improve orthostatic tolerance due to blood pressure issues.  She becomes more symptomatic when harness is unbuckled rapidly instead of gradually because of venous pooling in the abdominal & leg region.

When pt. is not using LG, in addition to wearing compression stockings, is there an abdominal compression/support brace that would mimic the LG harness in terms of the compression in the abdominal, pelvic & groin areas?

The abdominal binder she currently has slides up & was originally given by her physician for a spinal leak.

Pt. is 5'7" and weighs about 120 lbs.
